At night it is cooler, but it is not too hot during the day.<\/em> Perfect for a swimming pool for the day and jacuzzi at night!<\/p>\n Higeron on lot 4<\/p><\/div>\n Most of the road from the main highway to Rancho Silencio is paved, and the rest is maintained with gravel and the road is passable all year long. It is advisable to use a 4 wheel drive vehicle in the rainy season in most back country areas of Costa Rica and this is no exception. Although in the dry season and much of the rainy season, it is reachable without a 4 wheel drive.<\/p>\n Road to Rancho Silencio<\/p><\/div>\n There are 2 ways to get to this particular San Ramon Costa Rica real estate.<\/strong> One is the “back way” which is a little over 11 miles to San Ramon, and the other is the “short way” which is less than 6 miles from San Ramon. (It is only 4 miles off the main highway). So, you will be 15-20 minutes from San Ramon which is a nice sized town. It is likely the entire road will be paved in both directiions to San Ramon within a couple of years as more and more people are buying and building out in this peaceful area. But don’t worry it’s a long way from being “crowded” and likely never will be!<\/em><\/p>\n Rancho Silencio is only 1km or about half a mile away from the quaint pueblo of San Francisco <\/strong>which has a school, church, grocery stores or “pulperias” and a soccer field. About another 2 miles lies the larger, very traditional “Old Costa Rica” town of Piedades Sur.<\/p>\n We are located about 2 hours from Arenal Volcano with its beautiful views, lake and hot springs, and we are less than an hour to the Capitol city of San Jose’.<\/p>\n Arenal Volcano and Lake Area<\/p><\/div>\n EACH OF THE PHOTOS BELOW SHOW ONE EXAMPLE OF A BUILDABLE LOT<\/strong> AT RANCHO SILENCIO.
